The SonoSite TITAN® is a high-resolution modular ultrasound solution. It provides health care professionals with state of the art high-resolution imaging wherever needed for responsive, rapid patient care. The TITAN system's modular design includes three major benefits:
- Stationary and mobile usage
- Point-of-care connectivity
- Flexible, cost-effective paths that enable users to acquire new components and software applications
This ultrasound system's modularity is based on SonoSite's proprietary ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) technology, and combines the high performance of cart-based systems with the speed, flexibility and durability of mobile ultrasound devices. It delivers point-of-care connectivity through its Mobile Docking System, allowing the user to connect to the health care provider's internal and external information systems.
The SonoSite Titan is popular in small offices, intensive care units, and emergency rooms where an ultrasound machine isn’t always available in the budget. Our customers use it for basic triage, PICC lines, vascular and general abdominal imaging. There is also a cardiac option with CW Doppler, but this machine is not designed for a full-blown cardiac study.
The Titan is the predecessor to the MicroMaxx and M-Turbo. Like all SonoSite portable ultrasound machines for sale, it is an extremely durable ultrasound machine and seem to last forever. Most customers observe time and time again that it seems the SonoSite systems are timeless and are consistently reliable for years on end.

F.A.Q.
Each Sonosite System has specific probes that they are compatible with. The Titan is the first and original Sonosite ultrasound system, and therefore is compatible with all the Sonosite probes that do not include letters (Like "X" or "E") at the end of the name. For example, the Titan is compatible with the C60 abdominal curved array probe, not the C60x or C60e.
Other probes that the Titan is compatible with includes the Sonosite L25 Linear Array Transducer, Sonosite L38 Linear Array Transducer, Sonosite C11 Curved Array Transducer, Sonosite C15 Curved Array Transducer, Sonosite C60 Curved Array Transducer, Sonosite C8 Endocavitary Transducer, and the Sonosite ICT Intracavitary Transducer.
The Sonosite Titan is the entry-level ultrasound, and the most basic of the MicroMaxx and M-Turbo. That being said, it is extremely reliable, and is extremely popular amongst diagnosticians and doctors due to it's durability, consistency and dependability.
The Sonosite Titan portable ultrasound machine specializes in cardiac, OB-GYN, small parts, transcranial, urological and vascular application images.
Of course, the Titan has a battery that can last between 20-30 minutes without being plugged in for emergency scenarios.
