The GE Logiq S6 ultrasound system is a mid-level ultrasound unit that is best known for its reliable and powerful imaging enhancing technology. A system engineered to look aesthetically sleek, pleasing to the eye, and advanced, the Logiq S6 includes a 17 inch flat screen monitor.
The Logiq S6 also includes some crucial imaging enhancing technology, some applications exclusive just to GE systems - including TruScan Architecture and B-Flow displays. Other featured options include CrossXBeam compound imaging, High Definition Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI), Inversion Mode, VOCAL (Volume Calculation) and VCI Static (Volume Contrast Imaging). These exceptional features are sure to prove to be beneficial to both diagnostician and patient.
In addition to top quality image enhancing technological features, the Logiq S6 is best known for its OB-GYN (obstetrics and gynecology) application, as well as its Cardiac, Vascular, Small Parts and Musculoskeletal applications. This versatility when it comes to ultrasound applications makes the Logiq S6 adored by diagnosticians.
Versatility is not only defined by ultrasound applications though. The more ultrasound transducers the system is compatible with, the more convenient, economical and easy it is for diagnosticians to rotate between ultrasound systems (using a few probes all compatible with different systems instead of buying new transducers for each ultrasound unit). The Logiq S6 is compatible with many of GE's most popular transducers including the 4C curved array probe, 10L linear array probe and the e8c endocavitary transducer.

F.A.Q.
Great question! Speckle Reduction Imaging works by changing the frequency of the sound into different beams (as opposed to one stronger blast). This lowers the speckle that echoes back to the image, for the larger the beam, the more speckle. Another method includes lowering the beam’s power entirely – sacrificing slight image resolution but also preventing more speckle damage from perverting the image.
The Logiq S6 has built a reputation among doctors and diagnosticians for providing phenomenal OB-GYN and Cardio-Vascular application images.
The Logiq S6 is extremely versatile and is compatible with over 15 GE ultrasound probes / transducers. For a list of these probes, feel free to check the listing description!
The GE Logiq S is actually a part of two ultrasound series: The GE Logiq series and the Logiq "S" mini series within the Logiq series. The Logiq S6, S7 and S8 are all ultrasound machines in the GE Logiq S series.
